We're a family jewellery business and we were undertaking our biggest, scariest project to date! We were opening a shop in the Strand Arcade, Sydney CBD, and we needed a shopfitter that wasn't just efficient, but someone who cared!


I sent out a tender and within minutes I received a call from Nicholas at Borg Projects. What stood Nicholas out to me was his enthusiasm and eagerness. He was hungry to work and that really appealed to me. Nevertheless I still searched out other shopfitters to compare. Borg Projects went above and beyond again, meeting me at the shop location, bringing drawings, ideas, and suggestions all before I signed him as the official shopfitter.


In terms of quality and build, Borg Projects amazed us all with their attention to detail and overall finish. We built the shop out of Paperock, with black finishings, strip lighting, and copper features. Borg was very helpful the entire way, transparent, and quick to reply. We had many limitations imposed by the Strand due to its heritage nature, like construction only to be done after-hours, and Borg handled all of this without a problem.


Overall we felt in safe hands throughout the entire process, which was very important to us. You can tell Borg was passionate about his work and it wasn't just a job to him - he wanted to prove a point and make a difference. It certainly showed. Now our shop is in the prestigious IDEA awards for both Retail AND Colour! We're renovating our second shop in the Rocks, and of course we are entrusting Borg Projects to handle it for us. We just began drawings now and we're super excited to see it come to life in the next few months. Opening 2022 😉

Borg Projects are amazing!!! From start to finish of my office fit out they handled everything in the most professional manner. Not to mention Nicks attention to detail that just makes the finish product a step above others.

Nick was the Project Manager for a number of projects over 3 different locations. The scope of work involved the building of 2 showroom spaces in our Sydney location which was originally a half demolished office space, the space has custom made cabinetry and a timber 3D wall, The next project Nick worked on was the renovation of our South showroom where he modernized the space with a new layout. The last project Nick managed was our biggest proposal where Nick managed our new location at Beresfield, he worked on our newest designer studio, café and office space.


The quality of work done was consistently top notch. Nick is knowledgeable, skilled and conscientious about following the project specifications. His project management and coordination was very effective and showed his experience working in the construction industry, his excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills and commitment to follow through are assets which enable him to juggle the extensive details involved with all the projects Thynk Group required him to complete. Nick's familiarity with building codes also facilitated a smooth and hassle-free process.

Nick kept the relevant company managers informed of the different phases of the projects, his effective communication was always clear and he was always available via phone or he returned my call with-in 2-3 hours. Nick was also diligent when it came to organising subcontractors as all the respective trades were professional and reliable.

In the three proposals that Nick worked on, he gave a clear breakdown of the costs for each facet of the project. When the project was completed, all the work was done as described and agreed upon therefore there were no hidden costs, extra expenses or unpleasant surprises.

I am very pleased with the finishes of the 3 projects which Nick was instrumental in delivering, and I am extremely impressed with his work.
